Whenever possible, McAfee Energy believes that Solar energy should be the energy source of choice. It’s sustainable, cost, and energy-efficient and many states offer incentives to incentivizes, consumers, to integrate solar as a part of their energy strategy.

According to the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) recently published 2020 “World Energy Outlook”, Solar Energy is now the world’s cheapest electricity in history and the second cheapest source for new energy after energy efficiency.

At McAfee Energy we offer our clients an innovative proprietary business model for securing the best fitting Solar Energy Company. We’ll work with you to create a detailed scope of work and develop a Request for Proposal (RFP) to be submitted to our network of prequalified Solar Energy Providers.
Our prequalified Solar Energy Providers will then compete through a competitive bidding  platform to earn the right to gain your business. We’ll then select the candidate or candidates that best fit your need and present this to you. Our process is designed to cater to you with a skilled advisory team to create the RFP, negotiate the best terms with the most qualified Solar Energy candidates and  provide you with our expertise and experience to select the very best Solar Energy Provider.

Solar Lease Option

A solar provider rents your roof space for a system for a 20-year term, selling the energy back to the grid through the Community Solar Program (bypassing your building’s meter). You may have the option of subscribing to the system on your roof. At the end of the 20-year term, you have three options: (1) remove the system from your roof at no cost, (2) renew the agreement for another 5 years, or (3) may take full ownership of the system, collect all incentives and profit from selling the excess energy to other property owners.
